Never Wanting To Be Alone

She sits there, alone, every night.
Why can't he be the one, the shining-armored knight?

Why can't she be the girl he falls for?
Why can she be the one that he adore?

This is no way for her to live her life,
For she wants to be someones wife,

But she does not know how to keep a man
And nothing ever goes according to plan.

All she will ever know
Are the nights she wished he could just be "here now"

But he could never be there, just talked on the phone
And she just never wants to be alone.

Each sister housing a Capital Vice within.
The classification of objectionable flaw
Seven Demons who'll invite you to Satan's Door.

Meet Gula, Miss Glutonny, she'll swallow you whole
greedily indulge in the desires of your soul.
Temptation will drive you to gladly take her hand
and she will lead you away from the promised land.

Fornicatio, her desires and lustful needs
lechery and devotion to sexual greed
Ferral dark passions devored the pure in her mind
A soul overpowered by a love unrefined.

Avaritia, like Lust and Gula at best
denotes greed herself, another sin of excess.

That's just my wayI never used to talk about my weaknesses
but I also have my complexes
when people saw me at first I didn't leave a good images
but only if you knew me that's just my way to take care strangers

I don't know why I seemed so uncared
but actually I count every movement and stare
I guess that's just the way I spy and beware

Sometimes I can feel so space-less at a wide square
sometimes I also feel energetic at a crowded fair
I guess that's just the way my rare brain compare

I know how to swear and I say it everyday
People never get annoyed even they talks like me nowadays
I guess that's one of my bad habits which can't walk away

touching the worldi don't want to touch the world lightly,
in passing. i want to feel her,
want to brush my fingers across her mountains
like specks of braille, want to kiss
the white-tipped waves on her oceans,
want to squeeze her frozen poles and feel
the ice give beneath my fingertips
in a series of shadowy dimples.

i want to whisper to her sweet things
about the blue-green of leaves in a storm
and how clouds form mounds of white floss
between the sun and the sky. i will tell her
that it is lovely and she will quiver
ever so slightly and she will be my sweet child
as i have already been hers.

with gentle rhythmic breathing
until they subside

tougher, her muscles
slid to side
by soliloquies of her essence

bones crackle
a gentle crunching
by dictations of his desire

open-hearted to his loving gaze
now surrendered to his lips
her pulsing willing soul

and watch myself become soft once more
like the roses in my own cheeks

Remembrance
I remember the fear,
I felt.

From the faces people got,
when they talked about you.

I didn't understand what cancer meant,
or what it even was.

But I didn't have to,
I could tell it was something 'really bad'.

And the time I came to visit you,
and walked into your room. . . .

You smiled at me

And I saw all those wires and tubes they stuck into you
and I wondered, "Do they hurt?"

. . . .

And the day of your mother's funeral,
You where so pale and dazed . . .
your mind was so young,
I don't think it could comprehend
the pain.

I wanted to hug you
But I feared that if I did so,
you would break into a thousand pieces.

i sit back on my heels
to cup it close
a butterfly of thought
from yesteryear

i prod it with a chipped fingernail
force its thrice-folded contents
a yield too swift
and the prize is opened

Yesterday was the ninth anniversary of 9/11 and
today I am helping one of my best friends move
into her university dorm room. The world has
changed in a near decade. I've gone from a
terrified child staring at the television set
to a married woman rem

Cyanne: Shut up!

Lucy: No seriously, what if the train comes?

Cyanne: Then we get off the tracks, dumbass.

Lucy: Oh okay...but what if we don't hear it?

Cyanne: Then you use your super strength to stop it single-handed.

Lucy: Sure...I'll get right on that.

Cyanne: Good for you.

pause, they continue walking.

Lucy: are you sure we're allowed to be out here?

Cyanne: sarcastically amused We're not.

Lucy: Then why...?

Cyanne: Go back then, if you're so worried.

Lucy: Hey, Dad said you're supposed to watch me...not that i need it though! I'm-

Cyanne: Dad can go fuck-

Lucy: Don't say that, it's mean.

DreamsSomething that should be as
cherished as a valuable diamond
a diamond that glistens
with the unique spark
that makes it your dream
and your dream alone

to achieve the dream
you must meet it halfway
to get what you
desire most in life

it is something that
you hold close to your
heart and never let
anyone soil it
it is what makes
life livable

and remember one thing,
it is near impossible to break a diamond

Are my walls to strong?Are my walls too strong?
She exclaimed with a shout.
Is that why
People never come in or out?

Does nobody care
That I'm locked up inside?
Why doesn't anybody
wipe away the tears I cried?

I feel so lost
And so...incomplete.
I'm suffering here.
In a hell with no heat.

I made this prison.
The barriers grow up higher everyday
The fault is still my own.
The price mine to pay.

But perhapes...
I may have the strength
So I can tear apart my walls
Length by length.

Until then, I sit here
All alone...
But one day I'll tear them down.
All the walls that I have grown.

Love and BloodThe deal was simple. Kill them, get my payment, leave and never come back. That's all; nothing else.

I sat across from my 'client' at his desk in his private study. He was an older gentleman, around his late thirties to early forties. He wasn't very handsome; his looks had died away with age and lack of hygiene. I tried my hardest to look into his brown eyes and not at the hilarious recession of his graying hairline.

I sincerely hoped that I would age with much more grace and beauty than this crusted man.

"Is it done?" He asked removing his white gloves. It seemed he had returned from a dinner party with the other members of his class.

RainbowColors brightening up the world,
Lighting up the sky.
They can't bring me down,
But they can surely try.

Smiling when comments are made,
And people try to bring me down.
Knowing none of it is true,
They're not gonna see me frown.

I bring a smile to people's faces,
When they're feeling upset.
I can brighten up your day,
I'll take every chance I get.

I'm the weird girl in class,
With rock music turned up loud.
Who sits there and writes poetry,
And I'm pretty damn proud.

In order to have joy,
You must suffer through the pain.
So in order to get a rainbow,
You must suffer through the rain.

loneliness x pridei could call you
and chase after you tonight

but i'm too high on pride
and another rejection from you
is too much

i want something tonight

just one thing.

to see you sleep.

but that isn't a good reason to you

to anyone.

and so,
loneliness sleeps

next to pride tonight.

WHENWhen the air disappears,
And my mind pops
Shattered
Exploding freely in an exquisite burst of purity…

When your juices scorch and blister the surface of my apparently ordinary life

When taste returns to tongue and blood to heart
When blindness goes and the moon is right way up…

Then…my fury quietens but is there still as the dead days of finished time were…as tears no longer shed.

I want to see everything you may miss
